How abut a pink bread and you now whet a healthy one!!!!
The secret is to use ground beet root!
All you need to do is cook the beet root in salty water until they are soft then you lat them cool to room temperature, cut in to big chunks and pot in a blender ad the cooking water and grained to a paste.
You can store it in the refrigerator up to 3 days or to freeze it up to 3 weeks.
Just to let you know the beet root juice has a lot of antacids that are very healthy for us.
The recipe is:
500g strong white flour
150g ground bit beet root
10g fresh yeast
2g of anis seeds for a Mediterranean flavor
Place the water, yeast, ground bit rave paste, anis seeds ,bread flour in a mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer with a kneading hook to knead on low speed for 3 minutes. Add the salt and increase the speed to medium. Knead for 6 minutes.
Transfer the dough to a floured bowl and cover with a kitchen towel. Let stand to rise for 1 hour, until the dough has doubled in size.
Transfer the dough to a floured work surface and roll into a ball.
Place the ball of dough in a basket with a floured kitchen towel and let stand to rise in a warm place, until the dough doubles in size.
Preheat the oven to 250 ºc.
Bake for 35 minutes.
and let it cool.
